I’m a curious traveler based in Istanbul who’s usually in the middle of a new project—whether that’s a home renovation, a design idea, or just trying to perfect my backhand on the tennis court. I’m a big believer in staying active and keep a pretty healthy rotation of hobbies to stay busy.

When I’m not exploring a new city, I’m likely hanging out with my cat, Fıstık, or planning my next escape to the mountains. I’ve recently caught the ski bug after a trip to Bansko and loved the vibe of the Christmas markets in Frankfurt. I’m a fan of clean aesthetics, good design, and finding the best local spots that don't show up on a "top 10" list.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting people who can show me the "soul" of a city. I’m not a big fan of tourist traps; I’d much rather grab a coffee or a meal with a local and talk about life, travel, or whatever project they’re currently excited about. If you’re up for a tennis match or just a walk through a cool neighborhood, I’m your guy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently spent a few days skiing in Bulgaria. There is nothing quite like the feeling of being at the top of a mountain with a clear view and then the rush of the ride down. It’s my favorite way to hit the "reset" button.
