ABOUT ME

1. I was an anthropologist studying folklore and environmentalism in Iceland in graduate school.
2. My uncle Bernie died and was eaten by wild animals. His gardener found outdoors on a lawn chair.
3. I never outgrew children's programming. Also, I sleep with a stuffed moose.
4. Fall is my favorite season.
5. I have a fear of moths and butterflies because I can't predict their behavior.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2009 and fall of 2010, I CouchSurfed in Iceland and had a great time.
