ABOUT ME

Happy to host and help your planing & trip to Helsinki (Finland in general) and very interested to make new global friends whom to turn when needing local info etc.

Aki: I do have my hobby interests and I would be interested to visit / host related to diving, paragliding, kitesurfing etc. In Helsinki there is change to snow kite during cold season, thus snow kiteing is easy to arrange during the ice season ( Dec-Mar btw: during warm winter there is no such season in Helsinki).

My diving gear (two systems and compressor) is located in middle Finland in remote cottage. I cold host at cottage fellow diver's, but that really needs some planing and doing and thus I would not mind if visitor would be able to host me later for diving etc. From Helsinki it's about 700km round trip to my diving spot and back. Ps. there is not that much to see in Finnish lakes and sees no coral and very limited species of fish / other animals (small water spiders ;)

For paragliding we do mostly towing and there is always some traveling 100-500km to the spot. I would be very interested to visit good / easy hill side spot. Just let me know if you are located next to one...

Aki: Now that we have hosted some. It seems that I am more interested of hosting & CS staff than Heli. I just love to hear fellow travelers story's, experiences and advices. Heli is cool with hosting. but mostly busy with her own things.
