CURRENT MISSION
Get lost and find yourself already!
ABOUT ME
Work in progress:
How come the hardest person to describe is always yourself? I am currently studying abroad in Tuebingen Germany and have just begun my little year (maybe more) adventure in my new home. I moved here to Germany in the middle of July of 2009 and was living in Karlsruhe with my girlfriend, who had moved here only a couple months before me.
I know just about enough German to sustain a broken conversation and order something with some form of sausage, but my German gets better with each new day.
I am currently in a little town called Betra along the Neckar river attending a German language program at Herman Hesse Kolleg. I live with a Schwabisch guest familie in the heart of Schwardwald, but will move shortly to Tuebingen in a couple weeks.
I am pretty simple and laid-back and find the best thing in life to be a good conversation, and light hearted laughter over coffee or tea.
PHILOSOPHY
Take the time to understand someone else for who they really are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would really like to participate by both hosting and surfing over the coming year in Germany and wherever i find myself next. I am not entirely how much room I will have once i reach my apartment in Tuebingen so i have to keep my couch as a maybe at the moment. I would really love to meet fellow travelers though, share experiences, and find the little nooks of the world together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, so far my experience only comes by word of mouth and what others have told me. I am excited though for the opportunity to participate.
Interests
New languages and the small nuances of a new culture, new friendships and conversation, sci fiction novels, a myriad of music, listening, learning, and understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love sci-fiction and fantasy novels or any kind of escape literature although one of favorite authors is David Sedaris. I am currently struggling through a German childrens book about a Tiger and it's pet duck... riveting i know, but it's great for learning.
I like a lot of different music from true heavy metal, to oldies, jazz, and anything funky and bizarre from the last century.
When it comes to movies I will pretty much try anything except for poorly constructed teen movies, and foolish slapstick comedies.
Teach, Learn, Share
Computer repair, construction, and loads of general knowledge on the topic.
Cycling, gear, technique, and training
Exercise and Nutrition for fitness, wellness, life, and for six pack abs if you have the drive.
I can show you some basics about German to help you get the flavor of ice cream you desire.
