About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spend as much time adventuring as I can while I am still young-ish and bachelor-ish!

ABOUT ME

Grew up spending most of my time outside playing sports, on the water, or in the wildnerness as a kid in beautiful Alaska. I couldnt have imagined growing up in a more beautiful area, and am grateful for gaining my love of adventure here.

Went to uni in Galveston, TX, got huge into scuba diving, and then technical diving. Learned to surf and to relax more and just have fun. Pursued diving more and went into cave diving, then moved to Tallahassee, Florida the next year to start graduate school studying caves. Well, mostly to cave dive.

Spent the most of three years underground for fun and for graduate work, and started pining for adventures while meeting fantastic people in Florida, some of my most active and best friends.

Now, im done with school forever! I still love adventure, and am trying to decide the next place to live for it.

PHILOSOPHY

Be excellent to eachother!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, lots of amazing things (research cruise around Antarctica for one), but the most amazing thing I think I have done is dropped (rapelled) the deepest free-air cave pit in the United States, in Northern Georgia. Fantastic Pit (yes, it was fantastic) is a 540ish foot deep pit a half mile into Ellison's Cave, and is a beautiful sight with a waterfall and carved walls from eons of running water.

It was truley fantastic, and well worth the hardship.
