Hey there!

I'm a final year computer sciences student who loves to travel, meet new people and create great memories, even if with total strangers :D.

I love meeting different people, seeing our different ways of life, sharing our cultures, our experiences and knowledge. I'm a huge architecture and arts nerd - give me a ruin and I can spend a week looking at the rocks.

My main hobbies besides that are film photography, language learning, graphic design, going to museums, getting lost in new cities, hiking and discovering new music.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I just really like how noble the idea of the platform is. My parents used to take me and my sister to a lot of interesting destinations when we were kids, but we always stayed at hotels, isolated from the local atmopshere. The older I get, the more I realise I don't seek "observing" the places I visit, I would much rather immerse myself into them. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to get to communicate with locals and become a more mindful and meaningful visitor.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I love all kinds of music - From the niche corners of the progressive metal scene to the huge pop names we all know and love.
My all time favourites include Tool, Florence & the Machine, Sevdaliza, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Mashrou' Leila, Arca, and others. You can check out my last.fm profile @arthahelios if you want.

I mostly love the classic great movies, as it's not my area of expertise :D. I'd never turn down a Lord of the Rings marathon, Star Wars watch party, or a thriller night with Gone Girl and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Some great books I've read recently are Circe and The Song of Achilles by Madelline Miller, and I'm also a long-time fan of the Song of Ice and Fire series. Currently rereading Dune before the movie!
