ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Akshay. I'm a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Master’s in Anthropology. I am interested in learning about how historical movements of people have shaped the ancestry of present-day populations and how this ancestry shapes their risk to diseases. This also deals with issues of how ancestry and race are intertwined and what is the biological basis of the perceived differences among people.
