I try to live a happy life. We all do! The end goal for all humans seems to be happiness. For one reason or another, travel brings joy to many individuals -- including myself. I love the feeling of getting lost and having all the time in the world to make it back, and I love connecting with people from around the globe. It makes for a happy life. So my philosophy is that a person ought to keep the end goal in sight: happiness. Do what makes you happy. Smile at strangers. Help those who need help. And keep moving forward!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and I love to meet new people and learn new things. I am on Couchsurfing because it gives people a chance to connect with others and to share experiences. Plus, it eases some nerves. I wish to go to many different places, and having somebody to connect with helps a lot! Whether it be through hosting or simply meeting for a drink.

兴趣

Art and teaching are my passions. Art is wonderful, and teaching is so rewarding. I volunteer as an ESL teacher (English as a second language), and have worked as a mentor in the past for refugees entering the country. I helped them to adjust to the new country and way of life. I will soon apply for the PeaceCorps, as well as other volunteer programs abroad. I love to help!
