About Me

Hello, I'm Ala Zukri, originally from Ceuta, a small spanish town in the North of Africa, but proudly of Moroccan descent. Currently residing in Granada, I am pursuing a degree in Physics at the University of Granada. Beyond my academic pursuits, I find joy in reading, photography, and have a profound passion for nature. The synergy of these interests fuels my desire to explore different corners of the world, immersing myself in diverse realities and connecting with people from various cultures. Each journey allows me to get to know myself a little better.

I look forward to a future where I have friends from all around the world.

I think I can’t describe how passionate I am about meeting and getting to know people. I deeply believe in human connection, genuine joy and happiness.

I am currently in a rediscovering process putting a 120% efforts in trying to learn Arabic, specifically Levantine Arabic. I am looking forward to my future and first solo trip to Jordan in July!!!

My dream trip? The South Pole.

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music, I don't adhere to a specific genre; I usually listen to a bit of everything, from rock and alternative rock to R&B and pop. One band that I frequently listen to is Middle Kids, and I've also found myself in love with the music of the Spanish singer-songwriter Guitarricadelafuente. Music serves as a means for me to connect with the places I travel to; whenever the opportunity arises, I ask locals about their favorite songs. It's a unique way for me to delve into the local culture and create a more immersive experience through the universal language of music.

"The Seventh Seal," directed by Ingmar Bergman, is my favorite film.

My favorite book is "San Manuel Bueno, mártir" by Miguel de Unamuno, a Spanish author.
