I'm a jersey girl who has been living in Heidelberg, Germany for the past several years. I did my bachelor's degree here partly to avoid US tuition, but mostly to get to know another culture, language, people, etc. Now I am ready for the next adventure and will move to Taiwan for a master's.

I am DEFINITELY on this site to meet cool people and hear their stories, but if you just want a free place to stay, that's cool too. I know some hosts are super against it, but traveling can be really expensive, and im happy if i can make it more accessible to someone without heaps of cash :) I am also quite busy, and often all I can offer is a bed. Other times I like showing people around. It just depends, so just be straight up with me about your plans! (if you dont explicitly tell me you just need a place to stay, i will put pressure on myself to be a good host and will decline if im busy)
