ABOUT ME

My name in Alain, I'm a 29 year old French-Lebanese, arrived to Nice in 2007 and studied International Business. I like traveling and meeting people from all around the world...this is why I decided to bring traveling to me through couchsurfing ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, surfing, activities... there’s a lot to do here. What’s your favorite way to get involved?My friends told e that they only had great experience so far, so I was interested in trying it on my own.I can host in Nice-France, especially on weekends because I work on weekdays. I'm also interested in visiting people abroad. Nice is a very beautiful city, 30 minutes away from Cannes, and 20 minutes from Monaco-Monte Carlo, and less than 1 hour from the Italian borders. I can show you all those cities around, sightsee, tell you about the best places there...I particularly recommand visiting the French coast around April when it's warmer to go to the beach.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

What kinds of experiences have you had through CouchSurfing? In a few months I already hosted people from all over the world and had a great time with each one of them. It s definitely a great way to have a better understanding of other people's culture :)

What do you like to do in your free time? I spend most of my time with my friends, doing different sorts of activities, mostly related to the beach due to the great nature of Nice.I enjoy spending my time with them indoor and outdoor, going to exotic restaurants, partying, etc.I like listening to music, watching some series, meeting friends for chatting around a few drinks and of course traveling.

What do you like to watch, read, and listen to?I almost listen to everything excepts rap. i like oldies and new chart songs, it depends on my mood.I like romantic comedies, and historical war movies such as the Patriot, Braveheart, Troy, Gladiator...I'm also a huge fan of animated Disney movies; I almost have every single movie they've done.I'm not the biggest fan of reading :p

What kinds of skills or information could you share with someone? What would you like to learn?
I have already been living in 4 different countries (Lebanon, Austria, Australia and France), as well as traveling a lot. My trips made me more mature and open minded to try all sorts of new things, learn from the others, experience their way of living... This is why I would love to keep on traveling to share my experience, but also learn from other people's personal experience, learn more about their traditions, culture, way of life, etc.
