My parents have been hosting folks for a few years and have had a lot of fun with it. I occasionally travel to play ultimate or do personal development work, and I'd rather stay with someone interesting than in a sterile hotel.

I dig bluegrass, and appreciate live music of many genres. I like reading and watching science fiction, especially stories and worlds with innovative social commentary. My favorite recent reads are All the Light We Cannot See, Homegoing, and Nonviolent Communication.

I read the Lorax over a megaphone to an environmental protest and the law enforcement that had brought the tear gas.
