I'm a 20 year old student from Argentina, living in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
I'm studying History at the Saint Petersburg State University, I just finished my first semester.
I speak freely Spanish and English, the first one being my native language. I also speak Russian fluently.
I love music, and I play (not so often) the guitar, and I like to sing :)
And also, I love cooking, I don't have such a long menu, but what I know, I can do it well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'm going to travel to Amsterdam and Berlin soon and this is my first time travelling around Europe. A friend recommended me try this site, because I don't have friends in Europe, as I spent almost all my life living in Buenos Aires.
I am a very sociable and talkative person, I love meeting new people and talking about many topics, and I love active holidays, and that's what I will do these two weeks :)
And, of course, I can spend several hours in museums, that's one of my favorite things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open when talking about Music, I studied in a conservatory in Buenos Aires for 3 years. I play the classical guitar (or, to be honest, used to play...)
All my teenage I listened to metal and rock music, and I spent a lot of time in many concerts, I have so much to talk about all this!
My favorite films are Star Wars and The Godfather, I love thriller and horror films, and also comedies, but I'm much of sitcoms series.
I like detective books, it might be my favorite genre. But I can enjoy many kinds of books, I'm trying with Russian literature lately, and it really helped me develop my Russian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done many things, but I don't know which one is "amazing". I asked my friends from Argentina, and they said that moving alone without knowing anybody in Russia and without knowing the language is something amazing, and that it was just me capable of doing it. But, I met lot of people that were capable of it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some language, and if you know Spanish, I can teach you the Argentinian dialect and our lovely and meaningless phrases.
I can teach a lot about music, I love talking about it, the same with history, both things are what I love the most.
I want to learn about new cultures, different ways of living, different points of view about politics, history, important and recent events, and so on. Language learning is also something I really like, it's the perfect way to know better another culture.
I can share Argentinian culture, my experience about moving alone 13000km away from home, and my life experiences in Saint Petersburg.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, with hosts I don't think it will be so different, but I can share some cuisine and interesting talks. Also I can listen to your adventures! I love knowing about what other people did, or which plans they have in their minds. As you can see, communication is the most important thing in my life. And, it's something that we, Argentinians, are famous of, and yep, of course drinking some mate or maybe, a beer or a good wine, or why not a tea?
