I recommend the visit after you have been too the beaches, shopping malls and clubs of the center of rio most Brazilians know a bit about Petrópolis
but few gringos even the name

Here is info about Petrópolis it is the best day trip from the city and favelas of Rio de January river
Petrópolis is the imperial city but you can find out stuff like that on the Internet

It has no beach but many waterfalls and small rivers and a large national park

It has a small fashion district it is know for fabric manufacture the first being Victoria by Hellen Rossi a woman who had to get legal permission from her husband own her factory
