Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once I saw a Japanese TV program called "Why did you come to Japan?"
I saw some foreigners trying to HITCHHIKE!
He said the action could help him to get close to local people.
Thus, he would more familiar with Japanese culture and humanities.
I thought that was INCREDIBLE and really IMPRESSIVE to me!

So I want to close to the locals and the culture there!
