ABOUT ME

I get bored easily, so I strive to explore something new any chance I get. Whenever I have time, I walk a different route to usual destinations. My two best friends are as different as can be: the first, tattooed and pierced, has borderline personality disorder with a coy yet vibrant personality; the second is an outgoing, charismatic, by-the-book, lawyer in training. If I have the budget, I try new foods and flavors, preferably at new places with new people. My eagerness to experiment explains why I am so passionate about scientific research and medicine. My curiosity extends to all aspects of my life: I try new workouts and exercises whenever I learn of them. Himalayan Sherpa chanting music, Eminem, and Chopin Etudes are all likely candidates for my playlist right now. I am the analogous round peg in a square hole.

Food, hole-in-the-wall shops and restaurants, landscapes, knowledge, movies, art + design, equipment-less and artistic body exercises (especially gymnastics, free running, breakdancing and other things I cannot physically do though I try,) and trying my hand at a new skill/artform/craft.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I ran my first marathon a few weeks ago.
I have seen and played a role in my best friend's life, and her transition from a college-drop out, after her attempted-suicide, into a willful and spirited go-getter.
