I'm currently living in Australia for the year on a work and holiday visa from the United States! I grew up in the Florida Keys, which is a small island chain very close to Cuba and the Bahamas. I've always wanted to live abroad and upon graduating university this August I decided it was now or never. I'm traveling with one of my best friends, Eva, and we are looking to couch surf! We are both easy going and love animals, as well as enjoying a nice glass of wine or a beer (or 2!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and learning about their viewpoints and ways of life. I also realize that locals know the best places to go and the things worth doing, so that's helpful when you're traveling and only have a certain amount of time in a city!
