I'm a scientist, but I spend a lot of time distracting myself from work with climbing, writing, and activism. I am so lucky that I get to travel, hike, and canoe for work and for fun.

I host infrequently because when I do, I want to be able to put in the time to show off my city ans make real friendships. I prefer to host people who speak French, Hebrew, or Cantonese, so we can exchange our languages. English-speaking guests from anywhere also welcome.

I'm on a hosting hiatus right now our apt is really too small, and I want guests to be able to have their own space. Once I have a bigger place, I'll return to hosting infrequently... once every month or two. The spot usually fills up fast. If my couch says unavailable, it really is unavailable! Don't expect me to reply to messages asking if you can stay anyway.

Also, men, I know many of you seem to think CS is a dating service, but it's really not.

Intereses

I'm into outdoor activities, with bouldering and canoe tripping tied for first and hiking coming in a close second. That being said, I probably spend most of my time sitting in coffee shops or being snobby about beer. And I work a lot... I love what I do.
