ABOUT ME

when I know a way, I try a new one. not always easy though.I feel like you have to try new things in order to stand a chance of being surprised. can't always happen but it's worth it when you have those small or big surprises.

PHILOSOPHY

No TV for 20 years now. Can't stand it anymore. travelling on foot, bike or public transportation. feeling like cars are just one-ton stones that we carry with us everywhere...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

not often. I had heard (positively) about coach surfing. I like to receive people and share the pleasure I have to walk in Bordeaux, visit the market and bike around. I do it a lot with friends. Why not do it with new friends through the CS community? I registered to CS specifically to get to know people during my trip in Bologna during january 2011

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

met a wonderful couple that stayed at my place on their way from brittany. gave me great trekking advice and we spent a very nice evening!

plus, got to know a lot of people in Bologna through the local CS meetings

hiking, mostly in moutains (love it!), learning foreign languages, biking, swimming, reading novels, seeing movies, any kind from any country (including the US) but no Hollywood movies, cooking

Two solar eclipses. In Mexico in July 1991 and in Normandy (France) in August 1999. Both were several minutes of a wonderful aesthetic and quasi-mystic experience (I believe in nothing).
