Hey my name is Alannah and I'm from South Africa. I have lived there my whole life but most of my family live in Ireland so I have a bit of a mixed cultural identity.

I've taken time off this year to go traveling and have enjoyed every bit of it so far. Before I left home I was working as a Speech and Language Therapist with children. I love my job and I am lucky to be enriched every single day by the people I work with. I have a passion for people and enjoy meeting people of all ages and walks of life.

I'm often described as bubbly and friendly. Some people say I'm funny but people usually laugh at me rather than with me. I also find it very difficult to describe myself as I'm a bit of a paradox.
