Hi,

I'm pretty new to couch surfing, but I have a few friends who participate in it and I've only heard amazing stories from them!

The past 4 years, I have spent in university and haven't had the time or money to travel the world like I would love too. This year I decided to take a year off and see where it takes me. I will be traveling to Australia starting in February 2015 for a year.

I love going on adventures, meeting new people, seeing new things, exploring and basically doing anything and everything under the sun. I'm a super easy going girl and just want the chance to appreciate the beauty of our world and the people in it.

Interests

Traveling, Exploring, Adventures, Action Sports (volleyball, kayaking, wake boarding, etc). My biggest goal is to learn how to surf and I am traveling to the perfect place to learn that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my grade 12 year of High School approximately 20 students, including myself, raised money with the help of a company called CPAR (Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief) to provide two rural schools in Tanzania with Rain Water Harvesting Tanks. These tanks enable more children to go to school, especially girls, who otherwise would have had to miss school to collect water for their families every day. After the tanks were built we traveled to the two schools to meet the kids we had helped and just hangout with them for a couple days.
