ABOUT ME

Born and Bred Scottish laddie. After being a poor student for many years I finally got a job that allowed me to finance travels throughout europe. Like to spend half my time sightseeing and half my time in the pub when im abroad as this, for me, is the real way to see a foreign country. After reading "On the Road" it inspired me to see more of the world.

Just joined the site but id be more than happy to offer up couch/bed for weary travellers and to show them around Scotland

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Shamefully had never even heard of the Couch Surfing until spoke to an Aussie fella in Poland who swears by it. Decided it would be a great way to see the world as travelling can be a lonely experience sometimes

Interests

Travelling ( duh! ), including seeing more of my own country through camping and hillwalking. Football and general sports fan. More than happy tho to head to the pub with my mates for some laughs as well..

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic taste in just about everything. Movies I love Tarantino films, gangster flicks, comedies and Indie films. Music I like the classics like Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd onto modern bands like Stereophonics, Killers, Maximo Park. Like the classic novels as well like Jack Kerouac, Albert Camu and modern style novels like Angels and Demons, life of Pi.
