Overview
About Me
I like dinosaurs and sharks. I'm also an engineering student who works at a digital advertising agency.
I'm a very curious person, I love doing research on random stuff, meeting new people and listening to their stories and exploring the world!
I grew up in different places, I was born in Yeşilköy, a small summertown in Istanbul. We later moved to Kuşadası, another summertown because my family just couldn't get enough of summertowns. Later I lived in Santa Barbara,CA for sometime when I was growing up, that happens to be another summertown.
I really hate summer.
I was a boarding student in highschool. In my university days I adopted Mr. James Hetfields lyrics as a motto: "where I lay my head is home"
I love traveling, I love any kind of culture, I eat any kind of food, I'm just in love with living itself and I just can feed my hunger to learn and to know about anything.
Right now I'm living in Yeşilköy (just where I started). I would love to say "I'm living with my cat in Yeşilköy" but she died. Life has it's own imperfections.
I have a library room in my house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The only thing I don't seek while traveling is comfort and luxury. What I care is connecting with the locals and getting to know them.
Staying in a hotel is an unnecessary expense to me. They seem cold and peculiar and you can never have a true taste of the city while staying in an hotel. Plus, you can use the money to visit some other places!
I love meeting new people and getting to know them. Couchsurfing is the best way if you don't already know someone from the city you're visiting.
Interests
I'm a bass player. It's my favorite title. Bass player. The bass player, Alara.
I love music, both as a listener and a performer.
I'm also physically very active, I do free running. I have experience in sailing and aeronautical sports. I also like to camp and hike.
I love horror literature and whenever I find time I write short spooky stories. If we ever get a chance to meet up, I'll surely be showing them to you!
