ABOUT ME

I am a lifelong Alaskan with a penchant for quoting obscure TV shows and films. I love hiking and trail biking as much as curling up with a good Japanese RPG or space western and making gratuitous amounts of popcorn. I'm pretty handy with a spatula - especially when red meat is involved. I won't forget the corn on the cob or kabobs for those crazy veggie lovers out there. I'm remarkably easygoing, but almost callously blunt. Those with thin skin be warned - I like my company like my comedy: unapologetic and slightly abrasive.

PHILOSOPHY

Largely Machiavellian, but with a hint of Epicurus and about a half cup of Jean-Paul Sartre. Oh! And a garnish of self-indulgent Ayn Rand - just for shits and giggles.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I'm moving to Arcata, CA in August 08, I'm at the 'rents' place until then. While I have no couch to provide, I'd be more than willing to provide up to three or four folks with a guided tour of the real Alaska - provided you find some wheels. I bike almost everywhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Um, I'm pretty new at this. Sounds like a blast, though. I'll rarely pass up a chance to meet new, worthwhile people.
