¡Hola! Me llamo Alba Puertas y soy una estudiante de Arquitectura de España.
Actualmente me dispongo a vivir una experiencia de un año en Chile, y estoy deseando tener la oportunidad de conocer toda Sudamérica, para abrir mis fronteras y mi mente.

Como arquitecto, estoy muy interesada en adquirir nuevas experiencias y aprender la cultura arquitectónica, así como en participar en voluntariados que ayuden a la gente a vivir en mejores condiciones.

Hello everybody! My name is Alba Puertas, I'm from Spain and, currently, I'm studing Architecture. Now I have the chance to travel to Chile for a year and I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to get to know South America and open my mind.

As an architect, I'm very interested in the local architecture and traditions, and I expect to have the chance to develope volunteering to help people to improve their living conditions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me he inscrito en couchsurfing porque creo que es la mejor manera de conocer verdaderamente las costumbres y la cultura de los distintos lugares, desde sus habitantes, así como para tener la oportunidad de hacer nuevas amistades y lazos que espero mantener durante el resto de mi vida.

I have subscribed on couchsurfing because in my opinion, it is the best way to know truly the habits, tradition and culture of the different places and people I'm expecting to visit, and also to have the chance to make new long-lasting friendships.

Interests

Me interesa el viaje, el aprender, el ayudar, mancharme las manos, colaborar. Ver la realidad tal y como es, actuar. La fotografía es una herramienta muy útil para la memoria y por eso también la practico.

El deporte, la lectura, la cocina (especialmente la repostería).

I'm interested on the journey, learning, getting my hands dirty, cooperate. See the real world as it is, and act in consecuence. Photography is a powerful tool for memory, and so I practice it.

Sport, reading and cooking (specially, desserts) are also hobbies of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

La verdad es que en lo que se refiere a música, libros, y películas me suele gustar casi todo. Me gusta mucho la lectura, aunque por estudios no tengo demasiado tiempo para ello.

Me considero una gran consumidora de series, de todo tipo además.

Actually, regarding to music, books or films everything is welcome. I like almost everything, and although I like very much reading, because of my studies I have no time to practice it.

I consider myself as a great consumer of TV series.
