Overview
About Me
Born and raised in León, I lived in London for over three years and came back to Spain in 2019.
I'm a translator and subtitler, and in my free time I love writing, taking pictures around the city, trying new foods and pointing at cute dogs (i.e. all dogs).
I will be travelling around the USA and Mexico in September 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used CS for the first time a couple of years ago during my one-month trip around the US. It was an incredible experience and all my hosts were amazing!
After I came back I hosted a couple of people myself, and now I would like to repeat the experience.
Interests
I'm only completely happy when I'm traveling.
I'm always looking for new places to explore, and I LOVE people although I am a bit of an introvert so I need to recharge my social battery from time to time. Some of the best memories I have ever made during my travels are the humans I've met along the way.
I'm also a big foodie so I never leave a place without trying the local food and visiting as many coffee shops as I can.
Really into libraries and checking out live music/literature/any kind of cultural events going on in the place I’m visiting, one of the reason why I like staying with knowing locals!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite music: My favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire and Cage the Elephant, but I’m open to most kinds of music. I also love the Beatles and I had a really strong Beatles phase at 16 where I got crazy and started getting books about them from the library, so now I have all this knowledge about the Beatles which is handy when playing Trivia, I suppose.
Movies: I saw the movie Elvis and that’s like… my new personality now. Sorry. Also my favourite films are Little Miss Sunshine and Frances Ha.
Books: love poetry and confessional literature. My favourite book is The Catcher in the Rye because I’m a simple simple woman.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunsrise in Monument Valley and the sunset in the Grand Canyon.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, Ican teach you some Spanish phrases, share crazy travel anecdotes, maybe cook a Spanish omelette!
And help with anything around the house, obviously.
I’m happy to explore on my own but would love to be hosted by someone willing to share some of their time and knowledge of the city as well.
