hi, i'm french but i wash on a daily basis.
i teach english - several years in junior high, and the last 3 at uni. i'm pretty open-minded, sociable, enthusiastic and always in search of new experiences.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

i'm new on couchsurfing because i've only recently understood through friends how cool it is - i can be a bit slow-minded sometimes - and so far i stayed mostly in hostels, which i also love because u get to meet a lot of travelers, but nothing beats local knowledge, and since i'm on a one-year trip around South America, NZ, Oz and SE Asia I figured i would never get to know the places i'm going to visit as well as by meeting the locals and enjoying their hospitality.

Intereses

reading cinema swimming free diving snowboarding in the winter and surfing - poorly - in the summer. but my favorite thing in life is - how original is that - traveling!

surfed with dolphins all around me in a deserted australian spot. freaked out at first at first when i saw the fins and then they started racing under me and throwing algae to each other over my head so i was happy

i think it's pointless and counterproductive to have certitudes in life. i now know a few things - but mostly what i know is that i know nothing - but i'm always learning and i've always preferred being a learner than a teacher.

my crappy sense of humor, my general good temper and enthusiasm, my experiences as a traveler, my amazing dancing moves, and a couple french recipes : i'm not a chef but i can make mean crepes!
