About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LEARN A LOT FROM PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD!

ABOUT ME

We are a family of four, Marc (29), Alba (28), Naür (11mois) et Totxu (4years-old dog).

I (Alba) am a teacher in love with kids and their energy. Marc is technique architect and he loves eco-construction. We are both from Barcelona, Spain, but since 2 years ago we are living in France, in a comunity project.

PHILOSOPHY

We both believe that people and enviroment are the most important thing in the world. That's why we believe that knowing people around is the best education we can recieve and the one we would like to offer to our kid. We are very sensible at injustices and the problems around the world, and we try to live with respect, solidarity and empathy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we live in a very small appartment inside a farm in the countryside. For family logistics normally we don't use to host, cause we both work at home.

Interests

We love mountains and do trekking, and the nature in general. We love also travelling and know about other countries, people, and culture. Because of this, we normally travel around the world doing or participating in humanitarian projects, this give us the opportunity of know the people from the country, talk with them, and learn a lot! When we travel around Europe we normally travelled as simple tourists, but we would like to know the people and be as closer as we can to the citizens of these countries.
We love reading, also be informed and read the newspaper everyday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have gone with a canoe throught a river in Guinea Ecuatorial, in a very remote place in the jungle, with no tourist, nobody! And we have walked 3 hours throught the jungle with a local guide talking about mortal snakes, dangerous elephants....And we have slept in the middle of the jungle in a tent, listening the sounds of the jungle, incredible!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, France, India, Italy, Kenya, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Spain, Switzerland
