I am of Chinese, Filipino and Spanish descent raised in the Philippines. I grew up as an only child and had all sorts of pets from dogs, cats, hamsters, ducks, birds, hermit crabs and at one time, pigs.

I am a person of many contradictions:

I am an introvert but my work in Human Resources requires me to interact with people day in and day out;

My sense of direction, or the lack thereof, and right-left confusion are counterintuitive to my wanderlust;

I am a homebody but I enjoy parties when I am overseas.

I used to be a solo backpacker but realized there are like-minded travel buddies out there I just need to meet.

I have been traveling regularly since 2003 and been a Couchsurfing member since 2012 but for some reason, I have never utilized this platform to its fullest potential.

Since rekindling my friendship recently with a local I met in Thailand in 2012, we have traveled to 3 destinations and now planning on our 4th and 5th trips!

It made me realize that I could replicate this wonderful experience by making new friends through Couchsurfing.

I lost my passport while attending the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan and had to go through ordeals just to fly back home.

The experience changed me in ways more than one and it taught me that I am capable of doing many amazing things.
