About Me

My name is Albert Hirsch and I am working towards my goal of becoming a restaurateur . I am a 22 and working towards a bachelors degree in entrepreneurship to gain the necessary business skill set necessary to achieve this dream. Art, culture, and cuisine are my main interest. In my free time I enjoy cycling, photography, and exploring the area I'm in. One thing I enjoy is getting lost. Don't know why, just do. And I love meeting new people to share stories and gain knowledge from!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to gain new experiences with people rather than just going to a place. Te times I have traveled and used alternative options, such as hostels, I have had a much more memorable experience rather than normal means. I want to experience the places i visit now. My favorite thing to do when i get to a new location is to walk around and get lost on the bus or train. With my low income, but strong desire to travel, couchsurfing is the perfect fir to meet some a mazing people!

Interests

Cycling, photography, food, wine, beer, farming, green energy, animals, and reading various books. My favorite chef is Peter Gilmore in Australia. My favorite food is the kind that sits still long enough. My favorite wine is Chateau d'yquem, which I won't be having anytime soon. My favorite beer is anything made by Odell. I am Gardner growing heirloom vegetables and a FIG tree for some odd reason. And I've grown up with animals my whole life, every article of clothing I own probably has been woven with some variety of hair or feather.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My travel experience started from a young age. I grew up in Indiana and then the folks sold the house. So for the next six months, we traveled the west for six months; us, the dogs, and the birds! Recent bug traveling was my kitchen stages to Seattle, San Francisco, Rye, Chicago, and Omaha. I stayed with a cook from one of the restaurants for a month, long drives, and hostels. Travel is something that I've fallen into, And I'm so glad I did!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cool kitchen tricks! But I want to learn all I can about the culture you have knowledge of. I won't lie, I ask a LOT of questions. Don't take it personally, I just want to attain as much knowledge as possible because knowledge is insight. And I can share with you my personal knowledge and experience that I have gained through hard work and opportunities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to let my host know that I can share with you my curiosity and generosity. The whole reason I'm on here is to be more outgoing and adventurous. I will share with you my drive that is infect-able and my fun outgoing side. I won't be mooching of of you and I promise too cook for us a couple of times so we can talk and connect.
