ABOUT ME

Alberto started hosting couchsurfers six years ago in Valencia, Spain, and thought it was a great experience. We met in London just over a year ago and are now moving back to my (Simone's) homeland, South Africa. We thought we'd take the long route and are starting the trip back from Ethiopia and then plan to travel back to Cape Town via Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique.

We both love travelling, discovering new places and meeting like-minded and interesting people. We're generally pretty laid back (Alberto probably more so than Simone but that's probably got something to do with him being Spanish :-) and respectful of other people's property and space. We like cooking - for ourselves and others, being active (we've both been trekking/running/kayaking before) and enjoy being outside in the open (after being in London for ten years, that's one of the things I'm looking forward to most when we go back home to SA).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of the most amazing people Alberto has met have been while hosting them in Valencia, now he's on the opposite side and is excited about it! Simone is new to couch surfing so is yet to discover what it's all about :-)
