About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
when I signed up to CS I wanted to let anybody come across my home and my life, without boundaries. and to be honest, CS, you really managed to do that.
I've been around here for some time, and it's been a great ride indeed! opening my home and myself to hundreds of people from all over this crazy beautiful world really allowed me to see myself. I learned a lot. but that's not the point. the point is that we're all on this same journey, and each one of us is an independent declination of this very journey, but connected to all the others
Interests
I love music, in any form. my instrument is the guitar, which acts as an extension of my feelings! a big slice of my time is occupied by oriental disciplines, such as QiGong and Taoist philosophy, which I study and try to practice. letting the flow of life carry me, along these latest years many things drifted afar; today I am lucky enough to be able to devote myself to what I love most, which is music and music therapy, and to develop all sort of tricks to enhance people's connections through musicking! I also make music with refugees and marginalised communities, and I am always astonished by the power unleashed by music when you don't restrict it to a competitive performance of sorts, but you use it in a psychosocial way, to create and strengthen sound social bonds.
I'd love to share all of this with you. music is a stream, life is a stream, let's love the flow!

Teach, Learn, Share
down the years I've been doing a lot of diverse "things", mostly in and out of the wild fields of creativity. we can create out of the ordinary that surrounds us; we can discuss about creativity and strategies to let the expression flow (I devoted the whole first part of my artistic life to this topic). even better, we can just be together without a care in this world.
I always love to share whatever there is at hand: sharing is the engine of social life, it is the key to a sustainable human endeavour within the fabric of this world. nature constantly shares, never asking a crumb back. I've been stealing fruit from trees, shadow from clouds, inspiration from mountain brooks, understanding and solace from sunsets, and nobody ever tried to complain. we can do that too: we are nature to the very core. be sure about it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
After some couchsurfing, I can say that when you are staying with me there are some things which are very likely to happen:
1) being surrounded with music, be it heard in concerts, records or videos, performed by me or just talked about
2) exploring places within 50km from here, or in the countryside near me
3) eating something local, either at home (at your risk) or in some rather hidden place nearby (at even more risk!)
4) talking about art and self expression, and trying out what comes to mind
5) all of this in the same day
