Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing primarily because I'd like to make new friends, improve my English and French, broaden my mind, learn as much as I can, and visit as many countries as possible.

I have a little dream... to visit as many countries as possible by running half marathons.
I'm laying the foundation stone on August 7 when I'll run the Dublin Rock' n' Roll Half Marathon!
EDIT: August 7th, 2016, I ran the Dublin Half Marathon, my first Half Marathon abroad! :)

Interests

I love running at any time and everywhere (in the morning, in the evening, in the mountains, at the seaside...)!!!
I mostly run half-marathons, but I also enjoy running 10 K and 5 K.

I am "science addicted": I have a small library with more than a hundred science books. I also love thrillers and novels. Many of them are in English, so I could lend them to you if you promise to treat them well. :)

I also enjoy playing the guitar and writing music and lyrics.
I listen to a wide range of music, from classical to jazz, and from pop to metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Started university and took back my life at 25 after three and a half very difficult years. It's a long story, but I'd love to share it if you're interested (and if you have the time!).

- Became an engineer!

- Participated as a background actor in a couple of Italian TV movies

- Delivered pizzas with a very old car with broken windscreen wipers during a downpour

- Ran half marathons!!! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you:

- How to observe stars and recognize constellations with the naked eye (it would require a place with almost no light pollution, which is very difficult to find near cities and even small towns nowadays...)

- how to play some chords on the guitar (even though I'm a bit rusty, haven't played in ages)

- some recipes (I could cook for you!!!)

- How to repair your computer and keep it in a healthy state

I want to learn:

- basically whatever you can teach me...I'm curious about everything. Everyone has incredible stories, and I'm eager to hear them! Surprise me!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

- My company, of course!!! I like to have incredible conversations with my host and guests! :)

- I could cook some recipes for you (mostly vegetarian)

- I could wash dishes after every meal, I'm pretty good at it, with years of experience! XD

- I like to keep rooms clean and tidy, and I can help you do that
