ABOUT ME

Laura : I stayed a very long time at the univesity because I was happy to research about lots of things (time, sleep, dream, consciousness in philosophy, medical anthropology, natives rights in the world and especially in Canada...). I'm now a school teacher since 2009 ! I like discover new ways of life, conception of the world, new cineast, new authors, new poets, new photographers...I also like walking in the nature, doing nothing. I have been taking part to international volunteers work camps during summer (rebuilting old patrimonial monuments or make archeological excavations). I'm fond of botanic. I'm also fond of chocolate and I do home chocolates ! And trying to build a new way of life with a familial adaptation of permaculture's principles...

J'ai la chance de pouvoir conjuguer dans ma vie professionnelle des aspects de la vie en générale qui m'intéressent beaucoup : rencontrer des gens très différents (comprendre leurs fonctionnements, etc.) et me confronter à des situations techniques et artistiques souvent très variées ! (en tournée ou en accueil de spectacles dans des théâtres, par exemple). Il faut cerner une situation rapidement, s'adapter et comprendre comment nourrir au mieux un projet artistique.
J'apprécie par ailleurs beaucoup les situations que je qualifie de décentrage (se confronter à de nouveaux points de vue, faire vaciller certains fondamentaux) obtenues notamment en discutant avec de nouvelles personnes, en lisant certains articles de presse ou par le biais de la fiction (romans, théâtre ou cinéma ).
J'ai du mal à être exclusif sur un sujet en particulier, j'ai besoin de prendre un peu de partout en picorant (histoire, philosophie, sciences, arts, sociologie, sciences politique, marketing, artisanat, self-défense, hacking, etc.) Je suis fasciné par l'immense variété des processus mis en place par les humains pour interagir, que ce soit pour le meilleur ou pour le pire d'ailleurs.
Aussi je ne me sens pas spécialiste de quelque chose en particulier : c'est une sensation parfois frustrante ! S'il m'arrive alors d'envier parfois les "spécialistes" je me dis qu'ils doivent tout de même passer à coté de tellement d'autres choses !

La famille a grandi ! Nous voilà quatre, pour notre plus grand bonheur ! Léo (6 ans), un faible pour les jardins, les petites bêtes et les chevaliers, et Mano (2 ans), grand ami de l'eau, des arrosoirs, des oiseaux et des balais !
Tous les quatre : des envies de grand air, de nature, de joyeuses rencontres, de voyages...

We have had the exceptionnal opportunity to encounter matheo sara and albert coccovilli during a trip last summer. They were both great hosts and interesting persons. We have also hosted in Lyon, Sarah, a funny girl from Belgium, and our now friend Fleurine.
