Hi, I'm Albi!
I was hitchhiking for 2 years from Germany to Mexico. During that time I have met so many amazing people through Couchsurfing, that I definitely wanted to continue doing it.
I love exploring new places, be it on my own or together with locals. Both are completely different experiences. But I really like to see cities/villages through the eyes of the host. That's what makes me a quite flexible guest, I think.
I am so happy to finally have a fixed place to stay so that I can also host people and give back some of the amazing hospitality I have received during my travels. You can visit me, my wife and our daughter for a few days in Rostock, Germany.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The same reason why I try to only hitchhike while travelling: to meet local people and get away from anonymous busses and hotel rooms. It just feels like this way of travelling lets one experience the culture of a foreign country even better.

Music! Either listening, playing, singing or recording.

Sound for film. This is currently a big part of my freelance job.

Climbing. I'm kinda out of shape, but I tend to travel with a pair of rock shoes in my backpack and am eager to reactivate my skills.

Learning new skills to build or repair stuff in general.
