Hi ! I'm Alban !

I run an association who provide guided tours and entertainements, located in the small village of Ally, in the south of Auvergne. The place is located in a remote but very scenic area, in the heart of Massif-Central, around 1000m of height.
I'm above all an outdoor lover : I practise bike tourism, hiking, camping, bushcraft... the most I can !

Above all, I would like to make my place better known, by hosting travellers and let them discover.

Outdoor sports, hiking and bushcraft.
I travel by bike very often, for shorts trips and longer ones. I travelled from Angers, France to München, Germany, by bike.
Also, I hitchhiked a lot when I was younger. I like also listening music and travelling.

I like Game of Thrones, thrillers, action and police movies. My favorite book is "La Guerre des Boutons" of Louis Pergaud, writer who live in my region.
I love rock, especially old rock. My favorite band is Scorpions.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living in a completely isolated farm, without current water, warming and road access, in the heart of Portugal, in June 2017 :)

Make a great crossing of Europe and the way back, in two months, from Lisboa, Portugal, to Nordkapp, Norway, entirely in hitchhiking. I cross Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Poland (north), Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Norway, also Sweden and Germany for the return trip. It was a wonderful experience, I meet fantastic drivers, like Mehrnaz and Bahman in Germany, Helin in Estonia, Tanja and her friends in Finland, Janek in Sweden, Steffen und Franzi in Germany ! I sleep many times outside, but many times I was invited by fantastic peoples too ! That's was hard and sometimes, surrounded by mosquitoes on the side of a totally empty road in middle of Laponia, I asked me : What the f*ck are you doing there ?! but the experiences I lived was worth it.
I hitchhike around 14,000 km, and for the return, I travel 5000km in 7 days.

I can teach history of my region, and provide you free guided tours of the area where I live.
I prepare a mountain guide degree so I can lead you to the mountains. The area is full of volcanoes so we can climb them.
I can teach you some basic survival skills (making bonfires with firesteel, making water drinkable, making ropes with vegetal fibers...) and how to find and recognise precious stones.
Also, we can cook some Auvergne's food specialities .
