I am a translator and teacher. Currently working as a journalist at the local news agency; translating a book for kids; reading everything readable. I am truly mad about Orienteering, Chess, Reading, Yoga, and Hitch-hiking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined the community but I would be more than happy to make or help someone feel comfortable in Siberia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Japanese 60-year-old biker was heading for Spain via Russia thus enjoying all Siberian trappings our land could provide. He was robbed on the road, that is. My family gave him shelter for some days so the police could settle all the issues concerned. We had much fun together while he was staying even though the circumstances were not that exciting at all. He safely reached his Spanish friends and now we are sending letters and postacards to e/o.
