ABOUT ME

I don't necessarily have favourite destinations - I have favourite experiences in the places I've traveled to. These experiences invariably depend on whom I meet and what I do with them. Looking back, the highlights of my holidays have always been the fabulous friends, both old and new. Couchsurfing plays a huge part as always.

I have not stayed over at CS hosts. I have met many hosts through CS over coffee, short road trips, and gentle nightlife... in Brunei, South Korea, Georgia, Iran, Myanmar, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

Surviving an earthquake in Tagbilaran, the Philippines.
Foolish nightlife in Thailand and Taiwan - done and will not repeat.
Walking through Yerevan, Armenia in absolute darkness.
Feeling helpless at the customs borders of Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.

Near drowning whilst white-water rafting in New Zealand.
Near car accident in New Zealand.
Sky-diving in New Zealand.
(NZ was indeed intense).
