There are two specific quotes that sum up my philosophy in life:

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've walked through some of the poorest slums imaginable in Manila. These individuals have nowhere to go, so they have built their homes out over the ocean. Imagine walking across your bedroom floor, being able to look down through a knot in the wood, and seeing the ocean lapping upwards.

While not your traditional "amazing thing done/seen", it was transforming in its own right, reaffirming my thankfulness for this wonderful life I have and reigniting my passion to help others.
