ABOUT ME

I have to say that I am a little shy with new people, but once I get to meet them, I can be a lot of fun. I am really open-minded about several aspects in life and I really like to meet new interesting people. I find it amusing to hear all kind of different stories. I love to travel and visit new places. I believe that world is really big and I would love to visit as much as I can. Personally I think life is too short to live only in one place. Therefore I also want to help people who love to travel and just want to stay a couple of days and enjoy Vienna.

Currently I live in a shared apartment with two friends also from Guatemala. We are all students in Vienna. Around the same ages, friendly and cool.

Interests

It is really difficult to explain my interests in some sentences, all I can say is that I am more the artistic kind of guy. I enjoy listening to music, I hate sports but I do like to run and go to the gym. I love photography and going out with my crew.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sadly I do not play an instruments, but I really enjoy hearing good quality music. One of my favorite genres is Rock, but the Indie kind of Rock, like: The Kooks, Kings of Convenience, MGMT, Band Of Horses, Arcade Fire, so on. Another big part of my library is electronic music. Deep House, techno, minimal, trap, etc. Just to mention a couple. I also enjoy Jazz, Latin, Classic, R&B and World Music. I literaly hear a little bit of every genre.

Favorite authors. I would say, first of all Julio Cortazar. I really enjoy the books of José Saramago and Jorge Luis Borges.

Movies, well I really hate typical Hollywood movies. The ones you can predict from the very beginning. So my favorite kind of Films are the independent productions. I really like what Latin America has to offer in the Film Industry. And I completely love Short Films.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer you my couch (obviously) whatever you want to drink and/or eat. Or if you want to cook by yourself my kitchen is your kitchen.

If you are visiting Vienna for the first time I could give you a couple of tips. The places you have to see of Vienna and all the Sightseeing.

It depends on my schedule with the Uni, but if I have the time and you want to hang out, I can also show you the best bars and clubs of Vienna. We could go for a couple of drinks or whatever you like.
