ABOUT ME

I was born and bred on the very heel of Italy, in the summer haze of the Italian region of Apulia. In spite of the love towards this area of the world, through my childhood I developed a fascination towards the opposite extreme of Europe and dreamt on the hottest beaches about living under the nordic lights. Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I moved to Sweden as soon as I had the chance and I spent the last there three years before again moving to the UK to be a teacher of MFL in secondary education while trying to pass on children the same passion of a life full of things to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day you don't learn/do/taste something new is a day wasted.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm been on this platform for 2 years now, but I can say that I'm still new. I've hosted a lot of people outside this circuit. Mostly people I met in hostels or artists that are hosted by the art gallery that I work at. I Like showing people around and telling them about the reasons why I love those places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never been hosted but I've ground up in a environment where hosting was normality. My mother used to host her foreign friends when I was a child and I took part to several exchange programs that brought up to welcoming in our house students from many parts of europe over 1 week to 15 days.

PHOTOGRAPHY, CINEMA, ART, TRAVELLING, walking/hiking, cycling, sailing, capoeira, making new and exiting friendships. To learn Russian. Striving to become a better person, more acute to others interests, lifestyles, cultures, traditions, savouring every trip and every friendship :o)

I absolutely love to learn new languages, and also love to teach languages I know. That's pretty funny !

I also love eating (almost everything!), but i have to say I'm really bad at cooking. I make an amazing marble cake!
