I don't really have ONE favourite type of music, but some of my most beloved artists would be: Paolo Nutini, Beirut, Nick Drake, Devendra Banhart, Cat Power, Manu Chao, Shantel, Santigold, Wallis Bird and Damien Rice.
In terms of movies I really enjoyed Head-On, Once, Soulkitchen, Motorcycle Diaries and Amélie.
I also really enjoy watching series, like Sherlock, Shetland or Friends.
Last but not least: Books! the last book I really loved was "The Shadow of the Wind".
