A little about me.. My name's Alec, I'm 25. Originally from Southampton on the sunny south coast of England and now Live in London. At my core, I am a humanist and am very concerned with making a positive impact on the world.

Educationally, I have a Masters Degree in Astrophysics from the University of Kent and I'm passionate about public communication and education in science.

Just finished an amazing year working with an environmental behaviour change charity, based in Covent Garden.

Here's the context:
My work contract has come to an end and so has my tenancy and so I'm temporarily homeless and jobless. How exciting! I'm spending most of my time now in the Barbican or cafes doing one of three things:

1. Hermit-Crabbing around London to find a new shell. (i.e. viewing flats with the hope of finding my next home.)

2. Looking for jobs; mainly in Environmental Consultancy or similar.

3. Injecting coffee into my veins.

In the mean-time, I'm quite happily hopping from couch to couch each evening - catching up with old friends and meeting friends a-new.

It would be really great to find some new friends in town who are willing to put up with this temporary nomad. In exchange, I can offer good conversation, bad puns, well-mannered company and an intention to repay the favour, if ever you need, in future.
