ABOUT ME

• I'm a very easy going person and am always wanting to meet new people. I am always down to do whatever - whether that's just staying in for the night, going out for a few drinks, or doing something completely new.

• I am a documentary filmmaker/videographer, however I'm not one of those people who has a camera out 24/7!

• I love playing and talking about football/futebol/soccer, I was a soccer player at my University in the United States and also have spent time playing overseas such as in Brazil (w/ Fluminense) and Holland.

• I have lived in Spokane, WA, USA (hometown!) - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (World Cup 2014 was the greatest thing I've ever experienced), - and most recently New York City, USA studying/working in documentary filmmaking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

• When I (eventually) get a permanent address, I will absolutely be hosting!

• At the moment I will be using it to meet people and hopefully create lasting friendships along the way.

• Music - I am pretty outgoing when it comes to music. I love hip hop like Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Jay Z, Outkast, and the older stuff like A Tribe Called Quest and Notorious BIG. I also listen to people like Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Lauryn Hill, Bon Iver, James Blake, etc.

• Moved to Rio de Janeiro on a one way ticket with nothing planned and very little money - best decision of my life.

• If you want to learn/practice english I would be more than happy to help in any way I can! I used to teach english in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil so I would love to continue that practice.

• I know a decent amount of Portuguese as well, so I can also help with that!

• In general, I hope to be someone you want to be around! I have a real belief/hope in the innate goodness of humanity and I strive to be a good person in this world who makes other lives better.
