I am an open-minded, easy going, adventure-seeking person with a wide variety of interests. I like to challenge conventions and love good conversation.

I am passionate about the outdoors and enjoy hiking, trekking, cross-country skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and foraging for food. Just put me in a wood and I am happy!

I am a bit of a day-dreamer and love dreaming up new adventures both near and far, which usually involves staring at maps over a pint of real ale. I also appreciate stimulating conversation, sharing travel experiences, as well as having a laugh at life generally. I also spend an inordinate amount of time listening to folk music - as well as singing sea shanties when provoked!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I recently spent six months above the arctic circle in northern Sweden. I saw the northern lights from my tent five days' walk from the nearest road, ate reindeer heart, and was forced to make a log fire and sleep under a tree in minus 20.
