About Me
☑️PLEASE READ MY PROFILE☑️Let’s make it a win-win! Hopefully, we’ll meet soon🗽
🌍Hey, beautiful soul! Quick heads-up—I’m crazy busy, but I’ll do my best to reply ASAP. PLEASE, don’t take it personally if I forget to explain why I can’t host; I get bombarded with messages daily (CS rockstar problems, you know?). That said, I genuinely love this community and usually reply, so I appreciate the same good vibes and reciprocity from fellow travellers!
💚Live with passion and gratitude! We only have one life, one body, and no idea what tomorrow brings—so let’s make every moment count!✅
🌍Hey, beautiful people! Our TIME is PRECIOUS, so put some love into your request—make it interesting,☑️NOT just a 1-NIGHT crash pad plea!☑️We see those COPY-PASTE freeloaders a mile away, but we also see the gems who truly get the CS spirit, and for that, we’re grateful!
Hosting depends on our availability, but if you're creative, sporty, positive, or just up for good vibes, we’d love to host or at least meet up! Join our free CS flamenco/salsa nights, explore the city, or even hit the mountains—just don’t be that person who only comes home to sleep. CS is about sharing, not just snoring!😜
🌍I only accept requests☑️MAX 1 WEEK AHEAD!☑️Tell me your plans in my town and your wildest travel dreams—backpacking Europe, a weekend escape, a dance fest, climbing Everest, or even moonwalking (literally)! Let’s make it epic!🚀
☢️Guys, don’t ghost your CS accounts! Even if you’re on a "CS sabbatical," you might return—and poof, your references (and our epic memories) will be gone! Worse, we might lose touch since not everyone’s on social media. Stay, lurk, or just keep it alive for the sake of future reunions. Spread the word and save a friendship today!📖✨
🌍Check out my CS backpacking adventures on IG (alejandrojoyboy / alejandro_official_tour_guide)—I swear I’m trying to update them regularly!
Huge shoutout to all the legends who’ve hosted, met, or helped me—this journey wouldn’t be the same without you.💙
🐾We’re not strangers, just friends who haven’t met yet! So let’s share stories, embrace adventure, and make the world a better place—one epic experience at a time. Also, I pack light (minimalist vibes) and leave no trace (zero waste life)!🐾
🌈Dreamer. Teaser. Stranger-turned-friend enthusiast. If laughter was a currency, I’d be a millionaire.
💛Forever grateful to the incredible souls I've hosted and met—because let’s be real, it’s the people, not the places, that make a trip unforgettable. They turn bad spots into good ones, challenge our views, and teach us more about ourselves than we’d like to admit. So, to everyone who’s crossed my path: THANK YOU!
🔎Now, let’s talk business. If you’ve made it this far, congrats—you clearly have patience. But before you send that request or meet-up message, know that my most rewarding connections come from couchsurfers who actually fill out their profiles. It’s not about the bed, it’s about the bond. Sharing is caring, right?😉
🎃Currently juggling the CARNIVAL vibes while dodging the APOCALYPSE, naturally🌍
Migrant, nonconformist, and a bit of a troublemaker on a quest for deep convos and epic connections. I travel, talk, learn, and share, all while keeping faith in the human heart. I believe in dancing, loving, breaking bread, and raising hopes until they soar.
Super grateful for this wild ride called life, amazing friends worldwide, and endless opportunities to grow emotionally and spiritually. Let's keep the good vibes going!🌈
I believe in good communication and respecting shared spaces—just a couple of simple house rules: no stealing and no trying to murder me. Other than that, I’m happy to host as long as you don't treat my place like a FREE HOTEL and me like a FREE SEXY TOUR GUIDE (I'm much more than that😉).
🌼No need to bring dinner or drinks (though I humbly accept any offers😅), but do keep in mind that while I host often, my flatmates and I aren’t exactly swimming in cash.
🌼 Also, any help around the house is ALWAYS appreciated! We love showing guests around—bike rides, salsa dancing, and checking out the best free flamenco show in town. Let’s just have a great time, because that’s what life’s all about, right?✨
🗽Discrimination of any kind—whether about sexual orientation, gender, body, beliefs, religion, ethnicity, or nationality—is not welcome here! I’m all about creating a safe space filled with positive vibes, good energy, and great stories🌟Let’s meet as fellow souls, not labels. Share your culture, your wisdom, and your laughter—I’m here to learn, teach, and spread joy.
🪂CURRENT MISSION: To experience the world with child-like wonder and meet incredible people with even more incredible stories! Let’s make this adventure unforgettable🌍✨
🌍 ✈🚢🚲⛵🚙🐫🚘🐘🚡🚕🚜🚌🚛🚈🚂👍
Unusual name, even more unusual vibes!😄 PEACE is my happy place, balanced by GRATITUDE & LETTING GO.🔹
Obsessed with meeting new people, salsa dancing, sports, learning, dark chocolate, nuts, fruits, and endless laughter!😄
Give me pistachio and hazelnut ice cream, and I might just run an Ironman for dessert!🍨
¸. ● . ★ ° ☾ ☆ ¸. ¸ ★ ♫ :. . • ○ ° * ★ . ♡
✈Travelling to PARTY-LIKE-A-ROCK-STAR destinations, MEETING AMAZING PEOPLE who change your life. Whether I'm running endless miles or salsa dancing for hours, I'm all about FUN!🌅
✈Eco-friendly, always enthusiastic, HAPPY-GO-LUCKY😄, and OPEN-MINDED. Ready for adventure!
✈Coffee, hot chocolate, drinks? Let’s meet up!🍻🍹🍷
Life’s about enjoying the journey, meeting locals, and making unforgettable memories. CS = the best way to travel, meet incredible people, and feel at home anywhere.🌍✨
ABOUT ME
🌀🎩Ladies and gents, attention please!👒 We’re landing in ALEJANDRO'S PROFILE in a few nano-seconds! Weather’s HILARIOUS, wind at 100 knots! But no worries—you won’t see it! Local authorities warn: beer and wine must be shared🍻🌞The sun’s having a party today, super happy after yesterday’s fun. Tomorrow, who knows? Sun, rain, snow, hail—anything's possible!🌧️🌨️Big thanks from our BICYCLE company for choosing us! And please, before leaving the plane—don’t forget your personal items...or they’ll end up on eBay!😜
🌀Welcome! Grab a seat, make yourself comfy! Can I get you a drink? Tequila, Sangria, water? Oh, but before you set that down, here’s a question: What's the longest word in English? SMILES, because there's a mile between the first and last letter!😄
🌀I’m from a place where passion and happiness rule! Where the sun kisses the land, strangers are friends, and dancing is learned before walking. In my world, we dance to the beat of bongo drums, say "¡Hola Amigo!" with a smile, and the pavement is our dance floor—salsa, bachata, flamenco...we’re always moving. We might not top the economy charts, but we’re rich in hugs, smiles, and good vibes. So yeah, I’m Spanish-Latino, but really, I’m international!💃
🌀I’m the person who goes to the supermarket and forgets everything I was supposed to buy. The one who talks while brushing teeth (it's multitasking, right?). I was born so young I almost got a speeding ticket for youthful energy. A travel enthusiast, I’ve lived, loved, and learned from amazing people all over the world. Curiosity didn’t kill the cat, it made it more interesting!🐾For more juicy details, just bring a drink to the table... private info policy? I’m not complaining!😜
🌀Hey there, amazing people! Buckle up, grab your drinks, and put on your James Brown sunnies—because it’s about to get wild! I’m Alejandro, but call me Alex, Ale, Alejo, or even Ali (I answer to all). I’m often joined by my partners in crime, Antonio Banderas (check him out: Antonio's profile) and the always charismatic Luis Román (Luis's profile), and the legendary Marta Olech (Marta's profile)! We’re just a bunch of happy wanderers, sharing good vibes, no drama, and plenty of laughs. Life's a journey—let’s walk it together! 🌍💃
🌀Ready for some fresh, straight-from-this-morning humor? Let’s start with this: What’s the hottest letter in the alphabet? The “B,” because it turns “oil” into “BOIL” (B+oil = Boil) haha! And here’s another one to spice things up: What did the polar bear say to the female polar bear on their first date? "Let’s break the ice, baby!"😄🔥
🌀A little bit crazy, a little bit kamikaze—just enough to keep things interesting! But hey, Nietzsche said "there is always some reason in madness," so I’m just following the wisdom of the greats😜No drama, no worries—just enjoy the ride!
🌀Why are stadiums so cool? Because there’s a fan on every seat! Hohoho! Yes, I know, but hey, the jokes will get better along the way, promise!😜
🌀 Every morning, I wake up, stretch, do my best Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer impression, and flash a smile. Life’s too short not to love it, right? Let's make it epic!
🌀Let’s organise this circus of monkeys! But first, a joke (promise it’s good). Get ready, golden members, this one's premium quality:
There was a global meeting to plan the next space mission. Steve Bolt (NASA) says, “We’re sending a spaceship to Saturn to study life there.” Dimitri Smiski (Russia) says, “We’ll send a satellite to Mercury to study its effect on Earth.” Then, Gali Rukamikamatukini from the Space Department of Rukimatamukidinati says, “We’re sending a spaceship to the sun to study its effect on tomato sauce!” Everyone gasps, “But it’ll melt!” He replies, “We’re not dumb—we’ll send it at night!”😂
Hope that gave you a good laugh!
🌀From the desert to dreams, I radiate positive energy like an endless oasis! Impossible? Nah, just a challenge for my optimism. Let's vibe and make memories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
🌍I’m on Couchsurfing to 🄲🄾🄽🄽🄴🄲🅃 with people from all over the world.
I genuinely enjoy meeting strangers, sharing great moments, and having deep (or silly) conversations that turn into unforgettable experiences. I’m always up for a laugh, especially if it involves a bit of irony or sarcastic humor—so brace yourself!
Let’s hang out, make memories, and who knows… maybe even become good friends (with some playful teasing along the way).
✨My FAVOURITE kind of person? Open-minded, full of stories, and down to spend real time together. Skip the weather talk—tell me about your dreams, heartbreaks, wild theories, weird questions about the universe, or what makes you you. I live for those deep, late-night convos.
I'm often chill (read: lazy), but when the vibe is right, I’m into yoga, beach walks, spontaneous outings, and especially cooking at home. Bonus points if you’re up for a game of chess!
If you’re staying with me, you’re totally welcome to join me for a salsa night out—dancing is one of my favorite joys. I vibe to salsa, bachata, kizomba, pop, rock, uplifting tunes, and honestly, I can appreciate just about any genre from techno to funk.
🌍Some brag about degrees or mortgages—I'd rather say I have friends all over the world🫂
☢️ Friendly Disclaimer ☢️
CS has changed a lot — what started as a platform for meaningful cultural exchange has, sadly, drifted a bit towards something like Tinder/Instagram meets free Airbnb. So just to be clear: I'm not here looking for love, attention, or a cuddle buddy. I have a vibrant social life, great friends, flatmates, and fellow surfers around—and I’m happy to include you in it!
I won’t be giving massages, walking around naked, or drugging anyone—and I expect the same level of basic respect and awareness in return.
If you're here for authentic connection, sharing stories, and embracing the CS spirit, awesome! But if you're just looking for a free crash pad without giving a damn, please move along.
PLEASE read my full hosting section to understand the vibe. Be cool, be respectful — and let’s make this fun!
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN CS
Over the years, I've hosted tons of amazing globetrotters and organized epic salsa and flamenco CS events. I may no longer be an ambassador, but I still do my best to represent Spain with passion and good vibes—and plan to keep the CS spirit alive for as long as I can!
☢️A FEW SIMPLE HOSTING GUIDELINES☢️
Before sending a request, please read my profile and home section. I get a lot of messages, so I’m more likely to reply if your request shows you’ve taken the time to connect with who I am—and why you'd like to stay with me specifically.
✅Full profiles only!
Empty ones get a fast “nope”—nothing personal, just vibes.
🌎Español o latino? Escríbeme en español!
But no worries, I also speak a tiny bit of English (and un petit peu beaucoup de français😁).
⏳Last-minute couch requests?
Might not work out—I need time to actually hang out with you!
📲I reply pretty quick.
Sometimes instantly, sometimes after coffee.
🎉Wanna stand out?
Make your message fun! Tell me a joke, drop some good vibes — it really helps.
🎂Use this date format: (Wed 8th, Feb)
Yep, that’s my birthday too — now you won’t forget.
⏰Before you land, shoot me a quick reminder.
Life gets busy, brains get fuzzy.
🌀Crazy travelers, wild stories, positive energy—bring it on!
IMPORTANT VIBES ONLY
🚫Just here for a free place to crash?
Wrong door, my friend. CS is about connection, not just free beds. You know that, right?
✅I’ve got a few steps I follow now.
Why? Because of past hosting experiences — some great, some...interesting.
✉️Send a proper couch request — not just a message!
Seriously. If you message me without a real request (and forget the DATE), I’ll probably just ignore it.
📅Format matters: (Wed 8th, Feb)
Yes, I said it twice. Because it matters. And it’s still my birthday🎂
🌍Tell me why you wanna stay at my place!
It can be something simple or deep — maybe we share an interest, or hey, maybe you noticed I have black hair. No matter! I’m all about connecting with people from all walks of life: different cultures, backgrounds, nationalities, and yes, even hair colors.
❗Don’t just say “I need a place to stay.”
I get it, we all need a bed sometimes. But CS is about so much more than that. Tell me why you want to surf here specifically. What’s your vibe? Why does this place (and me!) speak to you? I’m looking for a deeper connection, not just a place to crash.
⏰If I accept you but you can’t make it, please give me a heads-up!
Life happens, no worries — just let me know a few hours before. I’ve had times when I accepted a guest, but they didn’t show up. It’s no big deal as long as I’m kept in the loop. PLEASE think of the other travellers who could have stayed instead. But hey, no stress — life goes on! All good, buddy.
🤸♂️I try to be as flexible as possible.
We’re all human, right? And when you’re travelling, things can get a little unpredictable. So if something comes up, just keep me posted — I’ll do my best to roll with it!
👀I’ll always check your profile before I accept or deny.
It’s important to me, and it should be important to you too.
💪I pay attention to the effort you put into your profile.
If it looks like you didn’t bother (one photo, zero info), I might think you’re a little lazy. And that’s probably a “no” from me. Take some time to share who you are — it goes a long way!
🔍I’ll also check your past reviews.
Don’t stress if you’ve got a couple of negative ones — we all make mistakes! What matters to me is how much experience you have with Couchsurfing. If you’re new, that’s cool too — just be honest about it.
👫Travelling with friends?
I’d love to know about them too! If they have Couchsurfing profiles, or even social media like Facebook, Myspace (haha), or LinkedIn, feel free to share their links in your request. Helps me get a better vibe of your crew!
🏡If I accept you, then WELCOME!
Mi casa es tu casa! :) I’m excited to host and share my space with you. Let’s make it a great experience!
🌍CS EXPERIENCE

It might sound like a broken record, but CS has truly changed my life. I’ve met so many beautiful souls along the way, and every encounter feels like pure magic. The best part? It’s always different and unique, thanks to this incredible community of cool, original people from every corner of the world.
Honestly, I wish I had discovered this sooner — along with so many other life lessons. But hey, it’s never too late! Let the adventure continue!
Even more than what my references show — believe me, not everyone leaves one — the real memories are stored in my heart (and maybe in my back from all those couch-surfing contortionist nights).
But hey, every CS-er is a beautiful kind of chaos.
I’ll never forget one unforgettable guest who once said:
"The person who created CS should get a Nobel Peace Prize for cultural exchange."
Couldn’t agree more—I 100% stand behind that statement.
CS teaches you to stay positive, become more tolerant, and embrace life as it comes.
Be flexible. Smile. Add a pinch of salt. Let go of fear.
Every person I’ve met (and continue to meet) through this community inspires me to keep exploring the world — both as a host and a guest. It’s a journey that never stops giving.
I like welcoming surfers like old friends — hanging out, sharing stories, and if I can, spending as much time together as possible. Sure, it can be exhausting…but honestly, it’s the best kind of tiredness.
Shout-out to that amazing Aussie surfer who cooked us a mountain of pasta I heroically finished. She’s got a beautiful family now—congrats, legend!
Hosting (and being hosted) has helped me grow, laugh, and learn more than I ever imagined. It’s been a wild, unforgettable, and totally priceless ride—no matter how many surfers I’ve met or how many couches I’ve shared.
PS: I’ve made some amazing friends through CS—even met one of the most fascinating humans in my life.
But hey, things have changed a bit since I joined. CS has grown (which is great!), but it also means more people are joining without really getting what it’s about. Some treat it like a free hostel — and that’s not what this is.
We can’t let that ruin the magic.
CS is about sharing, connecting, and experiencing a city through the eyes of someone who actually lives there. That’s the real treasure. Let’s protect it.
Interests
👀Passionate about self-improvement, ecology, running, dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue, kizomba), languages, squash, cycling, tennis, climbing, hiking, canoeing, and squeezing every drop of joy out of life. Oh, and TRAVEL—because what’s life without adventure?
👀The world is too fascinating to stay still—so let’s keep learning, growing, and becoming the best versions of ourselves!
👀Love showing travellers the magic of Seville: iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and, of course, epic salsa nights. If time allows, I’m always up for gigs, museums, art galleries, beach escapes, or mountain adventures. Why not?

Music, Movies, and Books
✍️HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READING:
How to be a Good Couchsurfing Guest and Host — seriously, give it a look!
📚My taste in books, music, and movies?
All over the place — and I love it that way.
A few favs: The Motorcycle Diaries, Long Walk to Freedom (Mandela), The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem (Branden)…eclectic, deep, inspiring stuff.
✅Book exchanges?
Always a big YES. Let’s swap stories, literally.
🎬Movie time? Count me in.
Lately, I’ve been into action and adventure, but I’ve got a soft spot for foreign films too — especially French and English gems like A Beautiful Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Les Choristes…and always down for a good comedy.
Yes to movie nights with you. Bring snacks!
🎶Music? I’m all ears.
I listen to just about everything. Recently vibing hard with salsa, bachata (Romeo Santos fan here), a little kizomba — but also pop, rock, and whatever’s on the radio.
Yes to gigs, concerts, random dance floors — let’s go!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well…too many to count! I haven’t swum with sharks yet — but I have done plenty of crazy things for love. That totally counts, right? :)
🐎Running adventures? Oh yes.
I’ve run two marathons and a bunch of local races — but the real stories start when I go for a “short run” in a foreign country and end up completely lost. Classic.
One time, I went for a long run with a hilarious American surfer. Mid-run, I may have… slightly sprinted up a steep bridge (oops). She was on a bike, trying to keep up — and yep, got totally lost. I panicked and started searching for her all over the place as the sun was going down. Eventually, I made it back home and — relief! — there she was, safe and laughing.
We couldn’t stop laughing after that. Pure CS gold😄
Living and working in Dublin (Ireland)?
Absolutely unforgettable — my first time living abroad and something truly hard to put into words. Walking along the Cliffs of Moher in Galway? Just…wow. Magic in every gust of wind🌈🌊
Being an Erasmus student in multicultural Sheffield (UK) and later working in London was another life highlight. I met incredible people from all over the world, had eye-opening experiences, and made memories I’ll never forget. One of the best chapters of my life.
Bonus fun fact: I can chew gum and walk at the same time. Impressive, right? Olympic-level multitasking.
Teach, Learn, Share
🎓CAN TEACH: The art of sharing moments with kindred spirits. Life is a never-ending classroom, and I’m a curious student of cultures, history, and languages. Teach me first, so I know what I can teach you! Always up for adrink, a🍫hot chocolate, or a deep chat about the meaning of life (or just how to dance badly but confidently).
🍻LIFE MOTTO: We’re lucky to be here, so why not make the world a little better? Small things matter—like recycling, smiling at strangers, or convincing your grandma to try TikTok.
🕵️♂️SECRET MISSION: I work with people, learn from them, and (probably) gather intel like a secret agent. Classified info available only over coffee or cocktails.
🎓CAN LEARN: Everything and anything—especially new cultures, travel hacks, and how not to get lost in a new city (still working on that).
🎁CAN SHARE: Travel tales, local tips for cities like Seville, Madrid, London, Berlin, and beyond! Also bringing a suitcase full of optimism, laughter, good vibes, and gratitude—let’s create memories worth telling!
What I Can Share with Hosts
🏄PEOPLE I LOVE TO HOST (or BE HOSTED BY): Positive vibes, open minds, fun souls. If you're into adventures like salsa dancing, hitchhiking, running, cycling, hiking, meeting new people, events, parties or shared dinners — we’re gonna get along just fine.
Pro tip: If you mention "I appreciate CS" in your request, I’ll know you actually read my profile — and that already earns you bonus points!
🏠WHAT I OFFER TO MY HOSTS:
🎓What I can share:
Self-improvement chats
Language exchange (Spanish, French, English, Italian and Portuguese)
Cooking skills (mostly delicious Spanish cuisine!)
Sports & activities: running, dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue, kizomba), boxing, trekking, cyclin and, squash, etc.
Basically, I bring the energy and the empanadas!
I will never ever say no to a salsa, bachata, or kizomba lesson — whether I’m the teacher or the student! 💃🕺🏽 Doesn’t matter if it’s in a studio, a club… or right in the kitchen. True story: we’ve turned the living room into a mini dance floor more than once before heading out to the salsa club!
I’ve got a wide mix of interests and plenty of stories to share—the kind you only collect from traveling, learning, and making mistakes in funny places✈️🌍I’m super social, but I can totally be independent too if you need space.
I’m also all about good conversations — even the deep ones (philosophy, culture, the meaning of life… or just why pineapple on pizza is criminal)🧠🍍❓
And yes, I love cooking🍳I’d be happy to make something for you — or we can team up and throw down in the kitchen together!🥘👨🍳👩🍳
🤸♂️To the hosts concerned about budget travelers:
I’m NOT just looking for free accommodation. I promise, if you’re reading this to decide whether to host me, I’ve already read your profile…probably twice🤓I’m used to living with people coming and going, so I know the ropes of hosting (even if my CS profile doesn’t scream "experienced host"). I’m happy to help with cleaning, cooking, buying groceries, or even taking you out for a drink! It’s not about the money — it’s about the experience. I do my best, every day, one step at a time💪
📚I’m a bit of a geek and always on the hunt for self-enrichment. Books are my lifeblood. Fiction is my jam, especially early American literature, but I also dive into plenty of non-fiction, especially anthropology and food systems (yes, I'm that person at dinner parties)🍲📖
✨Low-impact guest—I can be social or keep to myself. Clean, willing to pitch in, and I adapt to whatever the vibe is. I’m like a circumstantial chameleon. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it’s a full-blown conversation🦎
COMPANY, GRATITUDE, and RESPECT are my top values!🙌
