ABOUT ME

Aloha!
I'm Aleena, a 20 year old student from West Yorkshire, England!
I've been living in London studying French & Hispanic studies for two years and I'm currently on my 'year abroad'...where I have to spend 5 months in French/Spanish speaking countries...Pah! Students! I hear you say? Yeppp my life at the moment sounds wonderful- and it is! But having less money than usual (Madrid proved very expensive!) and not knowing anyone abroad makes getting to know a new city quite challenging! I also thought this would be a fantastic way to get to know new and interesting people (that's what it's all about!) and learn some valuable lessons!! Im loving making the most of every opportunity...you never know where it'll take you!

So I'm moving to Paris in a week or so and would like to try this out- if you know of anyone/or would like a room-mate yourself, then don't hesitate to get in touch! It's proving difficult finding a place in Paris....so any help would be appreciated! :) Whether you can host me or know any friends in need of a roomy, either way, looking forward to hearing from you!

So a month into my trip- Paris is awesome! I am loving my time here!
At the moment, I am unable to host, but I have plenty of free time to show people round on the weekend/meet up for a coffee/party! :)

MAY 24th- I'm about to leave Paris, really in need of a car to take me from my apartment to a friends house with all my things... I can't afford the taxi at the moment!!! IF you can help that would be amazing!!!

for a few days each time!

Met some fantastic people on my first trip to Paris! First couchsurfing experience was definitely a success!

learning languages, literature, cinema, being a bad cook, music, (anything from simon and garfunkel to the bloody beetroots to bob marley) sports - badminton, table tennis, skating & swimming only! wandering around new cities, coffee, tic tacs, meeting new interesting people, doing all of the above with friends!
