ABOUT ME
Composer and music student from Atlanta, Georgia, currently studying at Rice University in Houston. It's interesting to grow up as an impassioned liberal in two of the biggest cities in the American South. Frustrating stereotypes and rampant urban sprawl aside, I've found both Houston and Atlanta to offer so many wonderful things. You just need to know where to look, and I'm excited to share what I love about my two cities! If I can't spend the day showing you around, I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.
I love traveling and backpacking more than most things. I've yet to find a better teacher than the act exploring an unknown place, hearing new sounds, meeting new people, and being receptive to all the unimaginable and absurd things that might come my way.
Also: if you're not comfortable with gay and queer people, let's keep our distance. I'm usually happy to discuss anything, entertain any way of thinking or social stance, but I don't have the time or energy to spend more hours of my life defending myself against bigoted assholes.
PHILOSOPHY
This is a conversation I'd prefer to have in person (if you're the type to talk about this stuff). If you consider yourself a broadly curious person and open to new experience, I'm sure we'll get along.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll happily share my apartment in Houston with a pleasant person, if I have the time. If you host me, I'll work very hard to be a gracious and polite guest - just let me know what I can do! I am also fully willing to bring you any variety of tacky Texas souvenirs, like a cowboy hat.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Several great experiences couchsurfing (without the website) in Austin, Los Angeles, and Leipzig. Eager to have more!
兴趣
Thai food, music (studying classical composition and early music, but genuinely passionate about anything), backpacking, camping, attempting new languages, life in other countries, biking, wandering very slowly through museums, booooooooks, botany and horticulture (especially orchids and cloud forest epiphytes), good food, making kombucha
