Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Alejandra, an artist and embroidery designer from Peru 🇵🇪.
I’ll be in France for a year with a Working Holiday visa, looking for new opportunities and inspiration.
I’m coming to the country without anything certain yet — no job, no friends, just dreams and courage.
It would be amazing to meet people, make new friends, and practice my French (I’m learning on YouTube and Duolingo 😅).
I fell in love with France through its art, museums, painters and films — this country feels like a living artwork! 🎨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I’m arriving in France with an open heart and little else — and I think the best part of any journey is the people you meet along the way.
Couchsurfing feels like a way to share kindness, learn about the culture, and not feel so alone while I start this new chapter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve created miniature embroidered artworks inspired by famous paintings — each takes more than 10 hours of work, full of patience and love 💛
I’ve also taught embroidery workshops to many people and seen how creativity connects hearts — that’s always magical. ✨
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can show you how to embroider, paint with watercolors, or draw — we can even create something together!
Learn: I’d love to practice my French and learn about local traditions, cooking, and daily life in France.
Share: I can gift you a small hand-embroidered keychain 🧵 and we can share good talks, art, and maybe tea or coffee ☕
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m clean, quiet, and respectful — I always try to keep spaces tidy and peaceful.
I don’t smoke, and I love calm, creative environments.
