About Me
Hey guys!! Im Alejandra, born in Cancun, Mexico and living in Australia at the moment. I studied nutrition and dietetics but also have a degree on culinary arts! That last one for the love of it because Im mostly focusing on sports research which is more related to nutrition haha.
I like working out, reading, music, travel & food (like everyone)... sports I do mostly for leisure, and competitively I did horseback riding (show jumping) for a long time but not anymore. I like to learn a bit about everything :))) and you could say one of my hobbies is to take random classes (last one I took: soap making) My ideal world is a place where I can also study architecture, sports physiology and marine biology while I keep doing what I already do hahaha (if only I had more time and money). You should know I have a very big coffee addiction and if you do too I will be more than happy to have one with you.
I'm currently trying to work towards being zero waste so even though Im not perfect at it just yet is something that is making me very happy and fulfilled.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
go beyond the tourist view and be totally inmersed on the adventure of each place with the inside knowledge of the locals!
I started out this account while in Australia, so Ive had some people ask why I dont host at the time... its basically because I live in a house that is shared & not mine so I dont have that option just yet...

We can definitely talk about Mexico! I like to let people know we are much more than the idea that comes from american movies & stereotypes.
Examples: Did you know we invented color TV, the pill, we were the ones that knew carbon emissions were bad for the ozone layer?? Also our food is world heritage and we have one of the wonders of the world! 15% of the world biodiversity is in our country! we are cool people
